Great jacket, very warm

This is my second Himali jacket, and I love both. This time I bought an XL to get a bit more room so that I could better layer up. The “L” Accelerator jacket I have, I find it snug around the armpits, so this time I decide to try the XL. The XL fits a little bit more loose but I don’t mind it. I’ve been using it around the city in this late winter weather(TN) and it has kept me warm. It has soft outer fabric, and enough down insulation, in my opinion. One thing I noticed is that the last baffle on the front of the jacket, doesn’t have much down, so it looks pretty flat. Overall I’m satisfied with this jacket, it’s a great piece of kit. I highly recommend Himaly!

I am an old dirtbag climber who learned on the rock of eldorado canyon and flagstaff mountain. Found myself in the store in Boulder during thanksgiving. First thing i noticed was lack of gimmicks and fake people. Product is form and function. Met Tendi who is the emodiment of humility and genuine credibility. In a world of retail self absorbtion and brand obsessed consumerism, HIMALI is epitome of genuine.

My favorite Colorado winter jacket. Not too hot, not too cold, just right. Lightweight, very packable, wear around town, skiing, hiking, just had it up at 17,700 ft in the Himalayas (Oct 2024). Don’t leave home without it when I am driving I-70 between Denver and the Mtns.
