Absinthe is so off putting

Ege opens with an intense blast of absinthe, basil, and mint that comes across sharp and almost medicinal. While it’s certainly bold and distinctive, the green herbal edge overwhelms the composition and never settles into the dry, structured base I prefer. The frankincense in the drydown is too faint to balance things out. Ultimately, it’s a well-made scent but not wearable for me — the absinthe note makes the whole experience harsh and off-putting.
