Lelit Anna 2 PID Espresso Machine

Great coffee. Bad machine

Diving into my first higher end machine, I chose the Anna 2 based on its features. I'm not one to write reviews, but I had to after spending this kind of money! I brought the machine in November, 2023. The first machine had a faulty pump straight out of the box. That's fine, these things happen. Go back to coffee addicts, they do their thing in the back of the store and tell me it's fixed. I get home and it still doesn't pump. Go back to the store and coffee addicts swap the machine out for a brand new one. Great! I get this one home and it's perfect. It has been making perfect tasty espresso since. Fast forward 9 months and the machine is already falling apart. The little orange light that flashes, has broken off and is barely bright enough to see. And the silver ring around the pressure gauge has broken as well. I can only assume that the vibration from the pump is to blame, as the only thing I do with the coffee machine is make coffee. It hasn't been moved, it hasn't been dropped. It hasn't been hit. After spending $1000 on it, I take great care with the machine, because I want it to last years, not months. I won't be buying a Lelit machine again.

Coffee shop quality for each cup

Great quality of built, love the gauges (PID temperature and pressure). It makes it so easy to get a delicious cup of espresso. Each time I look at my machine, I just want a cup right away.
