Been using the countdowns for 50 years and they are handsdown the best bait for White Bass when they run up the rivers. Can't be beat in dead of winter for black bass also.

We use the countdown to catch trout, smallmouth, and even walleye. Its very effective casting and retrieving. We also troll with countdowns in swift water against the current.

Classic

I absolutely love this lure, and I think for most freshwater fish other than panfish this is killer. I only used my lure during two different fishing trips before I snapped it off in the mouth a particularly large white bass, but both times I used it I caught sizable fish and had multiple hits. I love the simplicity of the bait coupled with the variety of different ways you can fish this bait. I highly recommend the silver/black color if you can get ahold of it.
