This is without question the best braid for spinning tackle. It’s extremely supple while retaining all the properties you should expect from braid. I highly recommend this line.

My preferred brand of braid

I consistently get a reliable product with Daiwa's J-Braid X8 regardless of line size. Having recently tried to other brands at a lesser price point, I was immediately reminded why I stick with J-Braid. It spools cleanly (spinning and casting), casts nicely, lays flat, and handles the rocky jettys that I tend to fish here on Lake Michigan. Wind is always a factor where I fish, but wind knots are not. The only con is it does color fade over time, but I have yet to find a braid where some color fade isn't a factor. Recommend!

Never forget first time

First time purchase of this braid saw it is a Diawa product and had to buy it always high quality Very satisfied all around 5 stars. Used and reviewed similar braids definitely made the right choice. Can't wait to do it again
