Ilford Pan F Plus - 120 Film

Amazing for deep blacks and bright whites

PanF 50 is wonderful film, used correctly. A lot of folks use it on bright sunny days just because its a slow ISO50 film, but it is very high in contrast. So if you just snap away with it in bright sun, you might be disappointed. For studio work though, with the ability to control light, it is stunning. I've used it a lot for portraiture alongside Kodak Tri-X for when I want really smooth but high contrast images. I only use it in 120 format.

Fine grain and excellent tonality

A wonderful film for wide apertures or sunny days. Portraits are very pleasing and landscapes benefit from the overall feel of this film.

Cannot go wrong with this

Hands down the best film I've ever used. Even a 10 year out of date and poorly stored batch performs amazingly!
