Ilford HP5 Plus 400 is a versatile, forgiving black‑and‑white film with classic grain, huge latitude, and a flexible look that works from street to portraits and low light. For someone shooting a lot and learning, it is one of the safest “daily driver” films to load and forget.

First 120 experience

This was my first experience using 120 and on an old Kodak Brownie. While I wasn't sure exactly how to use it, it seems to have been pretty forgiving, making this a great starter film

Beautiful tones and very sharp

I personally think that tones of HP5 combined with the sharpness of medium format is the best possible combination for black and white photography. I use it almost all the time.
