Ektar is a sleeper film for those who want to have amazing colour rendition and sharpness - more vibrant colour than portra with very fine grain makes this a win for environmental and photography. This film had a speed of 100 which seems low but allows for great shots with low f numbers or dreamy images made with alow shutter speeds.

Great film with amazing colours

Kodak's Ektar is an amazing film. It has lovely colours, and on medium format, the grain is perfect so as not to overpower the image but still give it enough texture/feeling. I tried it mainly with street photography as the colours and feel enhances the gritty urban environment, but I also tried it with some landscapes and it perfomed buetifally for both

Excellent colours

Well suited to a sunny day, go to film for holidays. More expensive than your standard film but you get what you pay for.
