Kodak Portra 160 - 120 Film

Not my favourite but probably there's something wrong with me.

I have tried 35mm and 120, expired and fresh. There is something I don't like but I cannot point it out. All the scans have a matte look whatever I do. Even the one developed at the labs. Otherwise great details, great colours and everything. When it's on offer there is no brainer, I will buy. Otherwise, between P160 and Kodak 200 I will choose the latter. I use this film when I travel due to X-raying risk. Seems to handle very well the radiation, even after 2 rounds.

One of the best colour films

Portra 160 is a go to film when you just need to elevate your photography. The colour tones during hot summer days are beautiful without over emphasising any particular colour.

I absolutely adore the pastel-like colours that Portra can give, I wish I was able to use it more often. Due to the speed of this film it is best used on bright, sunny days, but that does not mean you cannot use it in other situations.
