CineStill BwXX - 35mm Film

I was really happy with the results from this. For Black and White I am normally an Ilford shooter, however I was blown away by the results from the Cinestill roll. Would recommend if you haven't tried it yet.

Not sure what the fuss is about

I enjoyed shooting this film, in part due to its native medium speed. I would day the grain structure aligns with Ilford's HP/FP range, however the contrast is more comparable with Ilford's Delta range. This medley of looks is something that I sought after and enjoyed about this film. That said, it's by no means a cheap B+W film. I have not produced any prints from this film, but I can imagine it would hold up well. Sadly, at roughly twice the price of HP5, I can't see myself shooting another roll any time son.

Great B&W Film, bit expensive

Probably my favourite black and white film, but at 3x the cost of capable budget alternatives, it can be difficult to justify the price. That said, the film has some halation on the highlights which offer a dreamy look, especially in the morning fog.
