David is a very talented artist, and I was pleased he was willing to sell a digital print I could use for our church's bulletin cover for our pride Sunday service. Several of my members mentioned that they appreciated the picture. Playful, with Jesus doing a puzzle with sheep, yet also deeply meaningful about his the church has historically treated too many marginalized groups, and how that needs to stop. A faithful reading of our texts points again and again to Jesus being with the marginalized.
