PoulTree Chicken Rod "The Perch" (DIY - No Skillet)

Great tool for the grill. Fit perfectly on my cast iron skillet. Put some halfed little potatoes with onions and some chopped carrots in the skillet add a misting of olive oil. Put seasoned chicken on the rod. Had the grill preheated at 400 then one and a half hours later we had a great meal.

This thing completely changed the way I cook whole chickens. I was skeptical at first because it’s such a simple design, but the results speak for themselves. The chicken cooks evenly, the skin gets incredibly crispy, and the meat stays unbelievably juicy. I have a rotisserie as well and it’s on par. What I love most is how the bird hangs suspended, allowing hot air to circulate all the way around it like a rotisserie without all the extra equipment. No flipping, no fussing, and cleanup is surprisingly easy. I used it on my grill, and the drippings underneath made the vegetables and potatoes taste amazing. The potatoes, OMG 🤤. The stainless steel construction feels extremely solid and well made. It’s simple, durable, and one of those products that makes you wonder why nobody thought of it sooner. Even the DIY version worked perfectly with my existing setup. If you enjoy roasting chicken, smoking poultry, or grilling outdoors, this thing is absolutely worth it. I’d say it delivers restaurant-quality chicken with very little effort. Crispy skin, juicy meat, easy cleanup — hard to ask for more than that.

This product is great! Easy to install. Chicken came out perfect. Crisp skin and juicy meat! I used the oven , but next time I’ll use the grill. Clean up was fast and easy.
