Cassoulet Bean review
This will be the 3rd year I've grown Cassoulet bean. Very easy to grow. Just plant them and keep them watered and they do just fine. They do grow a bit taller than most bush beans I've grown in the past, so I sometimes put a bit of support for the bushes in the bed. Since this is a shelling bean, I just leave them on the vine until the pods are dried out. Have received good yields and the beans were very tasty in the minestrone soup and baked beans that I use them for.

Great dry bean
It grows well in the Kootenay region. The long pods are full of thin-skinned dry beans perfect for soups and stews. They cook easily.
