Mason Bee Cocoons

Thank you for your bees-ness!

Nearly ALL of the many mason bee cocoons I purchased hatched after being set out - awesome! Some were for a patio garden in an apartment complex (totally legal in British Columbia - most restrictions here apply to honey bees and large hives for honey production, not native bees!) and some were for a school/community garden. Fantastic additions to both. Our bees have been working hard and started to do their masonry on the natural reeds we also got from West Coast Seeds... hopefully this means more bees next year!

Late start to our season but bees have hatched and working the bee house big time. Hoping it is big enough as there sure are a lot of bees going in and out.
