Excelsior F1 Organic

Out of 11 seeds received, only 4 germinated.

Ordered these seeds in early spring - out of 11 seeds received, unfortunately only 4 (!) germinated when planted… very very disappointing, especially considering the price. Germination rate indicated on the envelope is 98% — clearly this is not correct. These four little guys are still growing indoors to be transplanted in a couple of weeks, so i can not yet say anything about the quality of the cucumbers, will update later.

Disappointed.

I was excited to try these cucumbers and am growing them in my greenhouse. The taste is really good. However, mine are not producing many cucumbers as the ads promise, and the plants are thin and not lush as my other cucumber varieties. Sadly, I’m disappointed.
