The BEST corn
Probably the best corn I've ever eaten and was frequently snacking on it raw in the field. I direct seeded it and other than watering it a couple of times I pretty much forgot about it. Despite my neglectful gardening and only fertilized with with fish fertilizer a couple of times it did extremely well. I seeded about 150 plants and about 10 didn't come up (again, likely mostly due to not watering) so I seeded sunflowers in their place which looked great and made the pollinators very happy. Grew this side by side with another sweet corn, but this was by far the better one. Also froze very well. Will definitely be growing this on a yearly basis.

I will be planting this again
Good germination. The tassels formed well before the silks so alot of pollen was wasted. Some ears may not be full. Overall pleased with how it has grown and seems better than Golden Bantam. 2 ears per stalk. While production is good it is not ready to harvest so we can't yet compare the flavour to Golden Bantam.

Honey Select corn early review
May 25, 2021. I decided to start the seeds in pots indoors to get ahead of the season a bit. I planned to plant them on the Victoria Day weekend so I started them about 2 weeks before that. They germinated very quickly and by Victoria Day were well over 6 inches tall in the pot. They were just transplanted this weekend and so far seem to be transitioning well to the garden. Now I'll have to see how they grow and produce over the summer.
