Very vintage souding
Very vintage‑sounding — I love them, even though I was initially aiming for something a bit more contemporary. I thought Alnico V would give me less brightness. That said, these pickups sound absolutely beautiful. The neck pickup is especially punchy and articulate. The bridge pickup is quite bright, but the good news is that both respond incredibly well to the tone knob (and the tone switch). You can roll the tone back pretty far and they still remain articulate and punchy. With these two bad boys, you’ll never run out of sonic options. Bravo!

Great sounding vintage style pickups
Installed these in my Squier CV Jag. The stock pickups were decent enough, but these Peg City pickups just add a bit more of everything to my tone and reduces the buzz. More noticeable tone cut using the strange switch. Very glad to find a Canadian builder for jag pickups. Definitely recommended!

These Pickups Surf!
Bought these to replace the pickups in my Squier VM Jaguar as the factory bridge pickup is too hot to get that clean, glassy surf sound. These nail the sound I was looking for, nice bright treble, smooth scooped mids, strong bass. Would highly recommend!
