Finally happy with an LP sound!
Installed a bare set of 66ers (black/red) in my Epi LP standard, and I can now finally rest with an amazing LP sound. I doubt I will ever play a real 50-60's LP, but I can imagine that mine now sounds just like one...delusional maybe, but the tone search has ended. Open, clear, bright but not harsh, even a bridge sound that I love, which is rare...not too heavy on the mids, just perfectly weighty, clean is round and lovely, and they take overdrive soooo well. It is all I've played since I put them in. Build quality is stellar. I like them a lot, thanks so much!

Absolutely LOVE these pickups
As I get older, I find myself playing with less gain so I was looking for something more traditional. I am so happy I went with the 66'ers. Quiet, dynamic, and ballsier and sparklier than the high output pickups I replaced. I will definitely be back for more.

Exactly What I wanted
The 66er bridge pickup sounds awesome. Right amount of punch and clarity. Build quality and aesthetics of the pickup are top tier. Owner is really accommodating and answered all my questions
