Beam 3/2 Organic Cotton Weaving Yarn ~ Mist

Waffle weave

Beam is the perfect warp for thirsty wash cloths. Sett at 16 epi you can use beam as weft or 8/2 cotton as well. The colors are marvelous. All USA as well. Love that. Here are a set of waffle weave cloths on my loom today in licorice and mist using 8/2 cotton weft.

The perfect weight

I made some tea towels and I just love the weight of this yarn. It's easy to use and feels beautiful. I will definitely buy again.

Beam is great

I love the new beam yarn. It is tightly spun which makes for tight patterns and it is very easy to place a thread precisely where you want it. The yarn as spun is very strong, which is another plus. I am presently weaving a set of placemats in a goose eye twill. They are working up beautifully. I haven't wet finished any yet, but expect the bloom to only improve them. I will order more. The only shortcoming, we could use some more darker and more highly saturated colors.
