Not as many pockets as previous versions

I bought the new version 30" bag because my old bag was starting to fall apart. Upon arrival I was very excited to open my new bag. Upon inspection I quickly realized that there were any storage pockets in the side pockets or in the top opening flap. I was kinda disappointed in this but the bag is still of quality design but just lacking the pocket the previous version had
