The pod bolts into the pedal drive hole, giving you storage area and most importantly gets rid of the drag caused by the hole in center of kayak when being paddled or motorized.

Great way to clean up the deck.

They Sent bolts that were way longer than the original bolts in the black center piece that dont secure the pod, the original bolts that came in the holes were too long also so i didnt understand how it was suppose to be tightened down. Gonna have to go buy shorter bolts. bolts holes in the pod were not aligned and had to be re drilled, and felt very cheap. Didnt even come with a gasket. Its cool but not worth it in my opinion. Could probably make your own style pod for the same price and be much more sturdy.
