Rain and Freeze Sensor for Sprinkler Controllers

Broken rain sensor.

The rain, freeze sensor replacement is exactly what I needed. The one I had installed broke because I think the plastic was affected from UV rays from the sun, it broke where the flat plastic arm is connected to the plastic body of the sensor, when that happened the sensor was pointing towards the earth instead of pointing towards the sky. If this sensor was made with a metal arm instead of the plastic one I think my old sensor would still be working. When it’s installed correctly it works perfectly. It simply needs re engineered to make it last longer.
