Hope quality is still the same

I had one of these for 6 years and then it broke. When I replaced it I noticed the new one has some imperfections, including what looks like a fissure and a some divots. Hoping the quality is the same, and that this fissure isn’t a weak spot in this fragile and expensive stone.
