VALRHONA Unsweetened Dutch-Processed Cocoa Powder

I’ve been looking for Valrhona products that I can use for my baked goods (Chocolate cake, cupcakes, and brownies) and at last I’ve came across Gusta supplies’ Instagram page and saw the products they have. So I purchased the Valrhona cocoa powder right away as I will be baking a birthday cake for my friend who requested one. Delivery was very quick as well! Thank you!

Valrhona Cocoa

I've purchased this product many times before. It's alkalized and I prefer non-alkalized (natural cocoa) but the problem is that most natural cocoas don't have information on their heavy metal content. This Valrhona cocoa has been tested by Consumer Labs and found to be low in heavy metals, which is the only reason that I buy it. I find the flavour to be rather dull, which alkalized cocoa tends to be but this one is even more so. If Gusta can find a natural cocoa that's been tested for heavy metals, I would love to buy it!

The cocoa powder gives a rich chocolate flavour. One of the best you can buy. It will make a very nice hot chocolate too!
