Hybrid Angled Oval Headphone Memory Foam Earpads

Extremely comfortable, but changes sound for Meze 99 Noir

These pads feel great but unfortunately for me they change the frequency response too much from the original making them very shouty, sharp, and thin.

Good pads, chart didnt make jive in my brain so they wont fit - update Dan Clark Vs Mr Speaker

Overall good construction, decent price point and cheaper than Mr Speaker AKA Dan Clark. I think a quick update to the wording on the compatibility (or AKA) is a good idea and checking vs the current Dan Clark catalog and revision C, Flow, CX Mass Drop, Noire etc. may help order the right ones the first time. I didn't, but that not the pads fault. Getting some new ones soon.

This is a review for the Hybrid, Angled, Memory Foam pads. These were regarded as the best all-rounder among reviewers for the Thieaudio Ghost. Like many pads like this, they were not super easy to install. They only slightly de-emphasized the muddy bass of the Ghost, but sadly not by enough. I would also say the angled pads do not suit well for headphones that do not have a swivel as the front of the pad is far less depth than the front. Quality of the materials is good, except for a bit of fraying of stitching on the back. Shipping was via Amazon and super quick, within two days. I'll probably end up buying another pair or two, especially when on sale, as it is fun and interesting to hear how pads modify the sound of various different headphones.
