We purchased the loon as a gift for our nephew. He had another of your metal birds (which we gave as a gift a few years ago) and we knew he would love this one too. He found a temporary spot for it until the spring comes.

We love our loon! So much so that this current purchase is to replace the original one which had been a gift. The original metalbird loon disappeared from it's mounting block and we ordered a new one after we were unable to locate our lost loon. Whether it fell into the lake (unlikely) or someone else liked it too, we'll never know!
