I am well pleased with this unit, no more freezing in the garage for me. I too run the unit on medium but money well spent.

OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE!

I smoke two or three cigars a couple of times a week in my standalone study/office 'outbuilding', along with a beer or two, zooming and watching sports with my buddies. I keep the Airpura on about medium setting 24/7, and crack the windows a bit when I'm smoking to pull in some fresh air, and by the morning after there's only the slightest, and very pleasant, residual cigar aroma. Probably a little much of unit for this small of a space, but it's been perfect for me and way, way better sitting inside snug and warm in my recliner instead of having to be outside in the elements, especially during cold and windy northern Michigan winters! This is a heavy-duty purifier

We are a 2 smoker (cigars) 3 pets (2 cats, 1 long-haired dog) one bedroom apartment, so you can imagine the hair, smoke & general dust I battle every day. Since setting up this unit, our air is cleaner. I dust less often. And I believe our air smells better. The T600DLRX is more expensive, but believe me, we've tried the smaller cheaper brands on the market and they've been a waste of money. I would recommend this unit to anyone who asks.
