Micom Rice Cooker & Warmer NL-AAC10/18

I bought this particular model to replace a previous Zojirushi model that I had for the better part of 15 years. It served me very well. However, I did not always use the correct rice paddle in there for the bowl got scratched. So rather than just buying a new bowl, I decided to buy a whole new unit. I chose this model since it was in my price range and it looks kind of cute. I was able to set it up quickly and the instructions were clear. We made our first batch of Nishiki medium grain rice and it came out OK. Perhaps not as wonderful as it did in the previous model, but it was OK. The item was shipped promptly and with care and I would recommend Zojirushi for sure if you want the best.
