Fantastic little portable set - we have previously had mini 3D sets but they are way too fiddly and games cannot be paused. This set has (so far) been taken to a meal out, medical appointments, in the car etc. It takes up very little space its the best one I have personally seen. The company is great for super fast delivery, and we would definitely recommend it - thank you.

Bought this set to have with me on walks. Great to sit down with coffee, and try some puzzles. My wife is just learning to play, so we can have an impromptu game anywhere. Magnets hold pieces firmly, even half way through a game. Can't fault it especially for the reasonable price.

Purchased primarily to record positions and the odd game on a train. For this all good. Excellent value for money. My one gripe is that it doesn't close completely when folded - 1cm gap when pieces on playing board. 5mm when on bottom flap when not playing. Not much of an issue - perhaps stronger magnets on front underside cover corners would fix this? ( I use an elastic band) Reason for 4 stars - give 4.5 if i could. Anyway very satisfied with pieces and board - all excellent. Fits very well into pocket. Light and portable. I do recommend this for chess players on the go.
