Folding Magnetic Plastic Chess Set - Medium

Goldilocks sized travel chess set

Since my retirement, I indulge in using wooden chess sets for book study and club matches. But I soon discovered it would be handy to have a folding travel set for holidays or library visits. For this job, something light, durable, reasonably priced, not too large, not too small, preferably purchased from my favourite shop in London. This set ticks all the boxes. The pieces are very nicely molded, have a satisfying weight when handled and the whole set fits neatly in my bag after use. Perfect.

Excellent chess set

Perfect for my 7 year old, the light magnetic feature really useful. Checkers pieces hard to keep safe, no storage while playing chess.
