LMS Scammel Flatbed trailer

This is a splendid model, which complements the LMS parcel van I bought earlier. The detail is excellent, reminding me of my pre war Glasgow childhood, then later in Ayr as a WW2 evacuee. I’m proposing to create a Scottish rural station scene on 00 gauge, from the mid 1930s and Oxford Diecast models add to the authenticity. I’m looking forward to Oxford Diecast producing an LMS horse drawn four wheel dray, with a Clydesdale between the shafts and a huddled driver holding the reins. My photo shows the flatbed Scammel with the parcel van and other vehicles posed at a Metcalfe goods shed. Excellent work all round.
