The car that had belonged to Donald Campbell, and later on my father.

I was overwhelmed that you made the prototype AC, VPL 441. My father discovered it covered in foliage outside a local shed. He wrote to AC asking about the car, and it was confirmed that Donald Campbell had owned it previously. When Donald had it he had it sprayed blue with a grey interior to match his record breaking boats. My father would have copied his colours out of respect for the very brave and famous previous owner. I am now in touch with the beautiful AC's current owner, he has used some of Donald's original paint, and discovered some of his grey leather. He races the car and enjoys it very much. He has a superb website, simply put in VPL 441 to find it. Thank you for making the model!!!

Delivery good and excellent and accurate model. No name or identification on the box as to what the model was. Fortunately, I knew as I owned one for 30 years.
