Angel's Nest

This is my first time trying an aged ripe pu'er, and this was a pleasant experience. The first few steeps had a nice sweetness that mellow out with additional steeps. Later steeps gain a dryness quality, like red wine. While I'm not experienced with aged pu'er, I'm looking forward to continuing with this tea.

The compressed puck released by the first steep, after initial wash easily got 5-6 sessions or more depending on your preference, that evolved from a dark rich coffee like colour with frosty white swirls that danced on top of a the first few steeps then to to a vibrant clear amber liqueur that is silky smooth and earthy with No bitterness or off putting fishy smells.
