Seem to just gouge up with skates, neither of my boys can skate in them. We tried slip surface solution, taping the panels down, sharpening skates with a deeper radius. They are in my basement floor. They are all scratched/gouged up from only 4 attempts to skate on them, nothing comes off them in little pieces like they show in video. Not sure what we could do different, but I feel like I have wasted $1000.
