DMV Vented Scleral Cup

Vented, but not enough

I use these cups to put on my scleral lenses. The whole at the bottom is important because I use that to make sure it's going into the eye correctly and not off to the side, etc. It would be a lot better if the hole at the bottom were larger.

This Scleral cup works well. I have had no problems with it.

DMV Vented Scleral Cup

I use this in conjunction with the DMV stand. I have very few bubbles when I use the two together. My eyelids are very droopy; so, I need both hands to pry my eyelids open. I use this on a night table covered with a placemat covered with a white paper towel. The hole in the bottom enables me to see the white colored paper towel which provides an excellent aiming point. The stand and insertion plunger are no longer made; however, as I said the use of the DMV Vented Scleral Cup with the DMV stand has significantly decreased bubbles to less than five times in six months. Before, I had bubbles almost every other day.
