5 Gallon Moonshine Whiskey Pot Still 3x Heavier Than Cheap China Stills

Really nice heavy milk can pot still

First, I have not run the still, it is a Christmas gift so I was allowed to unpack, assemble and look at the still. I am very happy with the construction of the pot and whiskey head. Polish work on the can and head are excellent. Construction of the pot is heavy with a proper lip on the bottom to keep the can off the burner grate. I am very happy I chose Affordable Distillery Equipment for my still instead of something cheap from Amazon. You usually get what you pay for but in this case I got way MORE.

Beautifully made, solid construction, practically a work of art. This was more expensive than some of the other options I was looking at, but the quality makes it a much better deal. The large-dial (and accurate) thermometer is a pleasure to use. With a little care this can be passed down from generation to generation.

Novice runner

Kept the water cold water flowing in with an 80 gpm fountain pump. The output was pure mountain dew! Easy to maintain the heat with an open flame. Cleanup was easy. Now I'm just waiting for the copper bubbler to come back in stock. Shipped fast, arrived undamaged and ready to go.
