Brightening serum

I was surprised how my face lit up instantly when I applied this yellow cream. At first I thought what is this? Then after applying, I was so pleased.

OK But ...

I was very excited to try this serum but it goes on extremely thick and flakes when you mix with other products. I don't think this is a serum but more of a cream. I will keep trying though.
