Awesome product!

That thing is light!!! It came in just a small envelope and before opening, I thought, they had sent me a wrong item! But no - that thing is foldable down to a flat 8"x8" package - incredible! I bought it for my winter-bike-multi-day-trips up here in Alaska: I will use it as bag on top of the carrier for bulky but light items like sleeping bag, down pants and jacket and so. I always wanted to have a backpack for that instead of a duffel bag, just in case something goes terribly wrong with the bike and I have to hike home, abandon the bike and have to carry the most important items with me... For that, this super light backpack will be just great. The daisy chaines are great anchor points to loop thin straps through to mount the bag on the rack and the flexible cord allows to shove a shell jacket quickly in when I have to bike uphill and get warm. I have two other backpacks from HL and several pods and hippies and I am super happy with all the things I have from them!

Too complicated but trying to live with it.

I've been saying it for years as a backpack enthusiast, there is a space in the backpack market for a 1/2 pound, 25L, ultralight backpack for people like me who are ONE BAG people. The Stuff Pack 30 had been my go to for years! It worked for everything from hiking to camping to the gym to office usage. But after getting made fun of for carrying a "garbage bag" looking backpack for long enough, I bought the Summit instead. It's nice, but it has so many more unnecessary features and feels much larger and overbuilt than what I was looking for. HMG needs to make a BLACK Stuff Pack 30, that would fix all my problems and needs. A sleek sub 1/2 pound 30L office appropriate hyper lite stuff pack, omg I would buy it instantly. Please let me know if you make one, I'll test drive it for you.

So light!

I initially purchased this bag to use as a “go bag” in the event of an emergency. It’s so lightweight. I can put everything I need aside for an easy grab in the event it’s needed. Hopefully I’ll be able to take it on more joyful experiences, like long hikes and backpacking. Overall it’s a great find!
