Tusq is the way to go

This is the nut you want if you don’t have a luthier to make you a custom bone one. I prefer those but I don’t generally send my guitars out to the shop. If i’m setting it up at home I go with Tusq every time. About as hard to work with as a bone nut. The material it’s made of really does help keep the guitar in tune.

Perfect slotted Nut for my Dobro DM33
