For people like me who have a health condition that restricts breathing, these masks allow you to breathe in and out as comfortably as you can when you have a covering over your breathing orifices. And the cool Sheex material keeps your nose and mouth area from feeling overheated and like you're suffocating (which I feel like when i'm wearing any other mask!) The mask is very "freeing" psychologically.
