This is an incredible upgrade for my RV. Like most RVers, we like to boondock and dry camp. However, not having an AC unit at times, made sleeping very difficult in the heat. Installing Soft Start allows me to run AC from my Bluettii battery with any problems. No more loud “thunk” when the unit starts. It’s now whisper quiet.

Easy and straight forward from start to finish

It was an easy install from start to finish. I did all three units, two with heat pumps, in just over an hour and a half. Received great instructions from the website and the installation kits included had all the hardware that was needed for a quick and easy install. All three started up without issue and have been running flawlessly since. Dramatic difference in noise on startup, along with over a major reduction in inrush current when measured with my Fluke meter. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Works perfectly, just like advertised! The install wasn't hard to do and gave me a chance to look over the A/C unit and tighten up some of the built-in air leaks around the cold air box. I have already recommended the softstartrv to my camper friends and I'm sure they will discover like I did .....it works like a charm.
