First time using the product. Very happy with the clarity of the product. Set times were as indicated and I find the cured product is finishing very well. Clean cuts with leveling router and sands nicely with very little blockage on abrasive.

Magic Resin is my go to resin. I use it for everything. The deep pour is clear, hard, and doesn’t yellow much.

slow resin can overheat be careful!

I purchased the slowest setting resin becasue of needing to pour 2.5" thick. The resin didn't have enough information about setting times and conditions. It said it could be poured 4" deep and would take a week to cure. I set the thermostat at 22 C and poured the resin. By morning it had overheated, completely cured and cracked badly. I imagine there should be a calculation that takes into account volume as well as thickness and width in any one area to avoid overheating or necessitate cooling. I also put a cover over to avoid dust and insects which would have kept more heat in.
