Check your order carefully before you submit! Returns are NOT great.
I haven't even used the bottle yet but since I've been prompted to leave a review, I'll focus on the ordering experience. I ordered a 2-pack where you can select two different colors if you want to. I did not realize that if you click on the item once it is in your shopping cart, it defaults that item to basalt. So, instead of one basalt and one agave, I got 2 basalts. As soon as I submitted my order, I realized that I had missed this and immediately contacted customer service. I could not cancel or modify the order at all on my own and they confirmed they could not, either. My only option was to receive the package, order the correct item, send them my order verification, they would send me a return authorization, and then I would return at my own expense. Needless to say, in this age of Amazon, it's shocking that any company would still have this convoluted of a return policy. But, I don't need all these grey bottles so I proceeded. Ordered the correct colors, made sure I didn't trigger the default colors, got my return authorization. At this point, they offered me 10% off to keep the original order. whelp, that would have been nice to know BEFORE I placed the second order. Still don't need what was soon to be 3 grey bottles. So, I returned the original at a cost of $20 to ship. Hopefully a refund will be processed smoothly but I also hope that Hydaway can take a look at it's system. I very intentionally did not buy a "knock off"/cheaper version of this bottle based on the reviews and quality assurance. But, the purchasing experience was not on par with the product!

Ive been running the HYDAWAY 25oz Collapsible Water Bottle for travel, gym days, and hikes, and it’s honestly one of the more practical pieces of kit I carry. The ability to collapse it down to a flat disk when empty is a game changer—it frees up space in my bag and makes it way easier to justify bringing a bottle everywhere. The silicone build feels durable enough, and the flip-top lid has been reliably leakproof in my pack so far. Where it falls a bit short is in rigidity. When it’s full, it doesn’t have that solid, one-handed usability you get from a hard bottle, and drinking on the move can feel a little awkward. Also, if you’re used to insulated bottles, this won’t keep water cold for long. Therefore! If your priority is saving space and staying mobile, this is a smart, well-designed bottle. If you care more about structure or temperature control, you’ll notice the trade-offs pretty quickly.

Water bottles are good. I do not like the insulated cup. I would like to return it. I have not used it yet
