It works as described, although there is a learning curve depending upon the type of cork or synthetic cork used. Careful use of jewelers saw . Synthetic cork can be challenging at times but you learn how to do it. Make sure you use a synthetic wasker in bottom of jig to save the teeth on your saw blades.
