CRB Steel Turning Mandrels – 18" with Collars (1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16")

I purchased 2. Not to turn grips, but rather to use my power wrapper to remove braid line from reels and put into a spool, only then to despoil my reels with the fresh line on top and the older highly used line on the base. I eventually started using them to turn and sand grips. The locking collars help if you need to pinch your item onto the mandrel, such as an old line spool. They’re high quality. I’m actually considering installing a gimbal onto one end so that I can secure it to my power wrapper chuck easier. I seem to only need to have one side open or able to slide items onto or off of this thing.
