are those speckled dots supposed to be there?

I love the blue color! I was surprised by the speckled brown dots on the inside of the mug. I didn't expect them and I don't like them.

Love the quality, size and color. I use these every morning

The family I gave these to were already using them yesterday. They are the perfect size and a lovely blue color.
