Love the wool lining!

I love Stegmann shoes. This is my third pair. My favorite part of Stegmann shoes is the wool lining. I have long toes which tend to rub the top of the toe box. The wool lining means my toes never stick to the shoes. The only thing I regret is not buying the ones with the strap across the top. My feet are a little narrow so they slip a little at the heel. I'll get those next time!

I have a high arch, so I had to stretch the top of the shoe just a tad for my comfort. Stretching worked. Now they fit comfortably and are a nice closed-toed slip-on, which is what I wanted.

I have tried at least 20 different styles of shoe in the last couple of months, looking for a cute flat that would be versatile. Finally I found the Liesl. I have an oddly shaped foot with a wide toe, narrow heel, and a high instep. My size varies from 8.5 to 9, often in wide. I bought the 8.5 after reading the recommendations on Stegmann’s web page and it worked. A little wider in the heel than I expected, but workable. I plan on trying different styles now that I know these work.
