Haven't installed it on my DIY machine yet. It is not finished being built. But couple initial comments... It is kind of weird that the metric version comes with 82deg locating countersinks.... really should be 90deg... Also, the plate itself is not as flat as I expected.... it has wobble on a granite inspection plate.

More overbuilt than the nomad will ever need

I purchased the tooling plate for my Nomad 3 (along with the Hobby Vise bundle) and I couldn't be happier. Outstanding fit and finish and it works with all of the Carbide 3d factory accessories. The fixturing plate and vise make for an unbelievably solid part holding solution. Worth every penny. I'll definitely purchase another setup for my little 4 axis machine in the future.
