Tourte Original Shaped Viola Mute

Doesn't do what it's intended

I bought 3 tourte mutes, and none of them fully cling to the bridge. Even when I pluck the string, the mute decides to buzz off where it's placed. I would've been fine if I had just bought 1, which would've been like $4, but I bought 3 and they're all the same problem. I'm sure they work for everyone else's violas but certainly not on mine.
