Hi, I have a Cecilio cco-600 cello where the pegs kept slipping. Peg drops helped a little, but then made it more difficult to tune with the pegs, I had to depend on the fine tuners. I was a bit reluctant to order the Perfection cello pegs because of potential fitting issues. Those eBay $21 reamers are too small and I didn't want to spend ~$150 on a cello reamer just for one peg set installation. My original pegs measured 12mm on the entrance and 10mm on exit. I figured it was worth $136 for the Perfection pegs and worry about fitting them in the future. I ordered the 12mm Perfection pegs and to my surprise, the pegs fit without any reaming. They were tight, but with a rubber barrier and pliers I was able to fit them properly. The length was easily cut with a hacksaw and sanded smooth. While not need because of the tight fit, I used Gorilla glue to glue the pegs thread. The total time for the installation was ~1.5 hours. The Perfection pegs now allow fine tuning where I was able to remove the cello fine tuners, reducing the tail piece weight. The plastic Perfection cello pegs look just like ebony, nobody would know the difference. If you have issues tuning your cello, the Perfection pegs are the remedy and highly recommended. Buying products from The Fiddlershop is a joy, product shipment usually occurs in a day.

These pegs are awesome! I was able to swap out the plastic tailpiece, which had the fine tuners on it, for a wooden tailpiece. The sound quality of my cello improved. I liked them so much that I bought these pegs for my son's cello too.
